Accident, Sickness, Unemployment Cover

There is nothing as important as protecting the roof over your and your family’s head. If you are unable to work through illness or accident, or if you are made redundant, you need to be sure that your home is protected.

Mortgage payment protection insurance, or ASU (accident, sickness and redundancy) as it’s also called, will pay you a monthly amount in the event of a valid claim in order that you can maintain your mortgage payments and stop your home being repossessed. You will continue to receive the benefit until you are able to go back to work or find a job, for up to 12 or 24 months depending on the type of cover you chose.

These are worrying times we’re in at the moment, and not many people are 100% certain that their job is secure. It’s a no brainer to have a policy in place that will keep you and your family secure even if your job isn’t.

The ASU providers have made a few changes to their stance recently, and we as a company are fortunate to be able to still offer a stand alone policy. Most insurers have moved away from this area, offering insurance only when you’re buying or remortgaging your home, but we can still offer you protection even if you’re not taking a new mortgage. There aren’t many of us that can offer that at the moment.
