How Your Personal Information is used

This is processed in relation to your application for a mortgage with The COMPLETE MORTGAGE Company Ltd. or to provide other services e.g. Insurance, Will Writing or Conveyance. Whilst we ask you for detailed information we do also contact credit reference agencies to establish further facts. We may also contact you by letter, telephone or e mail to provide information on our additional services or products.

Unless we have your consent we will not provide your details to any third party company outside of The COMPLETE MORTGAGE Company Ltd.

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) compliance review bodies periodically need to assess our compliance as a company and whilst this is required we assure you of our strict confidentiality in this matter.

Credit References

Whilst applying for a mortgage or other product with The COMPLETE MORTGAGE Company Ltd. we use credit reference agencies and as such the agency will retain a record of this search.

When applying for a mortgage a public records search is performed, such as the Electoral Roll to confirm identity from credit reference agencies. Joint applications will link to financial records with credit reference agencies and may be linked to future applications made by you.

Credit Scoring

This is a process using the information provided by you the applicant/s and credit reference agency information. This helps the mortgage lender assess risk and the amount of a mortgage offer they are willing to provide.

The Complete Mortgage Company Ltd. will ask you to give your consent to the HL Partnership offering you other products and services in the future. You can request that HL Partnership remove your details from their system should you not wish to be contacted.

Anti-money Laundering / Statutory Regulations

In order to comply with money laundering regulations to prevent criminal activity we may need to confirm the name and address of customers be they new or existing clients of The Complete Mortgage Company Ltd.

We are legally obliged to disclose information about our customers to those bodies with statutory powers.
